Yearlings, Foals-in-Utero and the R.D. Hubbard Dispersal Sell on Day Two of All American Ruidoso Select Horse Sale

GUTHRIE, OK – AUGUST 29, 2020 – Session 2 of the re-formatted All American Ruidoso Select Horse Sale held at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma featured the first round of Select QH Yearlings, the Foals-in-Utero and the R.D. Hubbard dispersal. The Ruidoso Select Horse Sale, which is usually held over Labor Day Weekend at Ruidoso Downs, was temporarily re-located to Oklahoma this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

A total of 177 head were sold at the Guthrie, Oklahoma facility for an average of $45,638 per head. Fifteen head sold for $100,000 or more, and there were 20 horses that were listed RNA. The total sales volume for the day was $7,238,000.

There were 19 Foals-in-Utero that sold for an average of $21,710.

The top seller was Hip Number 286, a Favorite Cartel-sired filly from Burns Ranch sold to Reliance Ranches/Micah McKinney, owners of Lazy E Ranch and Arena.
