All American Ruidoso Select Horse Sale Concludes at Lazy E Arena
GUTHRIE, OK – AUGUST 30, 2020 – All American Ruidoso Horse Sale, LLC concluded its re-formatted three-day sale at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, OK, Saturday night with a second day of Select Quarter Horse yearlings and the final Hubbard dispersal consignments.
The overall sale-topper at $300,000 sold in the Saturday session and was consigned by Julianna Hawn Holt’s Cross Triangle Ranch and purchased by Linda Gordon. The filly, hip numbered 540 and named Magic Eagle Lady, is a One Famous Eagle daughter out of Thewayyouwantmetoo, the 2004 Rainbow Futurity winner and dam of A Revenant, the 2016 Rainbow Futurity winner and champion 2-year-old.
Also sold were the stallion shares from the Hubbard dispersal including a 1/3 share of He’s Relentless which sold for $650,000.
The Saturday session saw 161 head sell for a $45,381 average. Overall, 314 select Quarter Horse Yearlings sold for an average of $45,920. The median sale price was $34,000. A total of 59 head were listed RNA, and 44 were withdrawn from the sale.
The final sales results include the New Mexico-bred QH yearlings which averaged $14,295 on 105 head. The Hubbard dispersal of Quarter Horses including mares, race prospects, horses in training, and stallion shares netted $1,780,000. There were also 12 Foals-in-Utero sold which netted $229,500.
