ALL AMERICAN POST POSITION DRAW

Jes An Angel Named Morning Line Favorite in $3 Million All American Futurity at Ruidoso Downs

Jes An Angel, a two-year-old filly, has been named the 5/2 morning line favorite for the $3 million All American Futurity for two-year-old quarter horses to be run on Labor Day, September 5, at Ruidoso Downs Race Track. She will be number eight in the 11th race on Monday with a scheduled post time of 5:15 p.m.

The filly scored the fastest qualifying time during day one of trials for the All American on Friday, August 19th, running 440 yards in 21.257 seconds.

“She’s doing great,” owner and trainer Lance Moore said. “We couldn’t write a story that would be better than what is happening right now. She continues to prepare for the race and we believe that she’ll be ready to give a top performance.”

Jes An Angel, number eight, was purchased at auction in Oklahoma for $10,000, and her early success made Moore confident enough to pay the $50,000 supplement to start the filly in the All American trials.
